For some reason, instead of launching, it simply idles to the tray and you have to initiate it from there. If you double-click the icon, the application menu is going to show up and this is where you change all of your desired settings.

Using The Clownfish Voice Changer To Alter Your Voice

Keep in mind that you can also right-click on the icon. This will allow you to change the technical settings to your audio. This is also where you can toggle hearing your microphone, if you want to hear what your new voice sounds like. You will need the application menu to change the voices, so keep it expanded in handy on your desktop. This way, you can switch between voices much faster. There are some pretty classic voice options for you to choose from. Starting with the alien voice, which actually reverses every word you say. The Atari voice, the robot voice, a baby pitch and even male and female alterations.

There are also special sound effects built into the menu. You can either play them on demand, by clicking on them in the Sound Player menu, or you can bind them to a specific key combination and simply press those to trigger the sound effect. There is also a music menu, where you can link to YouTube videos and have the Clownfish Voice Changer Music Player stream them for you. There’s even a voice assistant, where you can input words and have text-to-speech play out.

All in all, it’s a pretty decent app, especially considering the fact that it’s completely free to use. There’s plenty of options, it’s very easy to use once you figure out where to locate it after launching. If you want to make the most of the app, you should try downloading the plug-ins from the website. These are not available during the installation and the only way to obtain them is to download them from the website and then install them separately. The plug-ins are for specific use only, so they are entirely optional and it’s up to you to decide if you want them or not. One of them is a push to talk plug-in, which is particularly useful for multiplayer games which often use this mechanic. The other one is an expanded version of hotkey assignments, that can let you create an entire soundboard of custom sound effects. The default app only lets you assign one sound effect to one key, but this plug-in lets you assign more of them, which is useful.

Both of these are primarily going to find a huge use in video gaming. They could be used to enhance a YouTube channel as well. Even outside of these uses, it still a pretty fun app to use regardless. If you’re feeling bored, you might want to take a look at it. It is extremely user-friendly and quick to install, so two minutes are definitely worth to at least play around with it.
